between a rock and a hard place

Between a rock and a hard place. Diamonds are formed deep in the earth's crust under conditions of extreme temperature and pressure.  But the pressures are steady and they take a long time to have their effect.  Climate change caused by people is not being addressed by steady strong policies.  If we wish to save our species from climate change we need such steady strong forces.  We should learn from diamonds.  The photo shows the diamond placed in the headstock of the storyteller guitar.
